How is this different from OpenID?
DandyID and OpenID are actually complimentary technologies. DandyID provides tools to help you manage and own your identity, while OpenID provides authentication tools. OpenID gives you a way to identify yourself around the web, but it doesn't communicate who you are. You are much more than a name and password -- your online identity is a collection of everything you do across the web, and DandyID helps you organize, share, and communicate that identity. In other words, OpenID helps you tell web sites, "This is the real me, let me in," while DandyID lets you say, "Now that you know this is really me, here are all the bits that make up who I am."
